VEHICLE IT WILL WORK. THE OTHER FUNCTION IS TO CLEAR CODES AND CHANGE SETTING
THE RADIO IS USED TO CHANGE THE SETTING ON HOW YOUR KEYLESS ENTRY OR ALARM
SYSTEM WILL WORK, AND USED TO CLEAR WARRING CODES LIKE LOW OIL.
MOST DATA LINK RADIOS MOUNT THE SAME AND HAVE THE SAME PLUGS,
SOME VEHICLES LIKE PONTIAC AND BUICK'S USE A DOCK AND LOCK OR DIFFERENT
MOUNTS.
THEY ARE NOT ALL INTERCHANGEABLE, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE PART NUMBER

LEARN THE COMPLETE VIN NUMBER THE COUNTER HAS TO BE AT 0. DURING
MANUFACTURE THE COUNTER IS SET TO 255 SO THE RADIO CAN BE TESTED
WITH OUT HAVING A VIN NUMBER OR BCM COMPUTER CONNECTED TO IT,
THE COUNTER IS THEN RESET TO 0 FOR INSTALLATION INTO THE VEHICLE,
ON BRAND NEW RADIO DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY NEVER INSTALLED IN A
VEHICLE, SOMETIMES THE COUNTER IS NOT RESET ALL THE WAY TO 0.

NORMAL DRIVING CONDITION THE COUNTER WILL COUNT DOWN TO 0
